JUST IN: NSCDC boss holds emergency meeting with top officials

The Controller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has summoned Zonal Commanders and State Commandants to an emergency meeting.

The meeting, which is being held at the NSCDC Headquarters in Abuja, is still ongoing and was called as part of measures to curb the rising insecurity in the country.

It was gathered that riot acts would be read to the Senior officers at the meeting.

Also, security advancement at the various correctional facilities across the country and monitoring of private guards, among others, would top discussions with the senior officers.
